A Multi-Platform Healthcare Case study

We needed to extract and organize several databases from marketing, centralized PLD and other systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting PII (Personally Identifiable Information). The new system needed to be accessible to employees at all levels for collaboration purposes and allow direct communication, while having easily understandable dashboards and automated reporting.

We wanted to create a centralized data storage with custom classifications and categories so as to cover all types of data and files. The system should have AI based insights available as well as human ones and visually communicate these insights through a bespoke experience and on-brand dashboards. Users should be able to access a multitude of data and reports regarding the organization’s business, including media, brand, and clinical insights.

We started by creating a single master database with custom taxonomy to handle all the data extant and incoming streams. We established an integration between Tableau and Marketing Cloud Intelligence which gave the client instant ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) ability, Harmonization and critical data discovery capabilities. We then created a custom application to manage the whole while maintaining the business’s voice.

Being a healthcare provider, reliable communication between personnel is key to good patient care. The application, with its accessible custom dashboards and access to all needed data, encouraged and allowed the users to make sure patient notes and other important information would be at all necessary people’s fingertips, while giving administration personnel automated reports and easily accessed custom queries of their databases for marketing and health center conditions.
